You know how a babies first words are momma or daddy well Randy's was lawnmower. Randy was one when he got his first set of tools. He would always be working on lawnmowers while he was growing up. When he got to a older age he would always be taking things apart and putting them back together. Randy had two uncles that owned auto repair shops at which he worked at during the summer. His uncles helped him realize that he wanted to own his own shop when he grew up. His uncles were the ones that taught him how to repair cars and everything to do with cars. In High School he co-oped with a dealership who's nephew had a slick-50 race team NHRA drag-racing team. He decided he didn't want to do that so he got a job as a mechanic. He got offered to work with Chad Chafin, who is a Nascar driver. He then went back to work for the shop he used to work for. He bought that shop when the chance came. At first he was having a hard time but he learned that if you are nice to your customers you tend to get more customers. When the gas prices went up he had other car business ask him what he was doing to get all the business. He told them that if you are doing people right they tend to like you. In 2009 he sold the mechanic shop and has had to start all over again. |
